YOUR NEW ROLE

In your new role as a Support Worker, you will assist clients by
developing and implementing new housing support plans, personalising
them to suit client needs. You will manage clients as part of a
multidisciplinary team, building relationships with local authorities,
social housing providers and landlords. You will give clients the
resources to manage their living space and move on from homelessness.
You will advocate on behalf of tenants, responding rapidly and
providing emotional and practical support during a crisis arising for
the tenant.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

To be successful as a Support Worker you will have a QQI level 5
qualification in Social Care or another related field. You will
ideally have a minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role. You
will complete all necessary trainings prior to starting work. You
should have flexibility around working day, evening, and night shifts
to meet the demands of the service. Experience in health and safety
inspections and audits would make you a strong candidate.
